Die Testing And Process Development   Our High Pressure Die Cast foundry includes a state-of-the-art new Prince 3500 ton machine with a compound hydraulic-mechanical clamp for precise tonnage control over a large range (1500-4000 ton). While the Die Cast department samples all tools before delivery to a customer, we also perform sampling after each stage in die-development and following each design or engineering change to a particular die. Also a part of the Research and Development department, The Die Cast department is an integral part of Exco's Prototype Development and the Rapid Tooling Concept programs. Our 3500 ton Die Cast machine is production capable and has enabled us to make great strides towards our goal of cutting delivery times. In addition, our Foundry has allowed us to supply machine parameters for production and allowed our customers to drastically reduce their 'start-up' time.
